08.09.1999 New partner for Visma BusinessEDB Maxware AS - an important new partner for Visma Business
EDB Maxware AS has signed an agreement for the distribution of Visma Business. EDB Maxware is headquartered in Trondheim, Norway, and has offices/subsidiaries in the Norwegian cities of Molde and Tønsberg as well as in Sweden, the Netherlands and the USA. EDB MaXware is part of the EDB Group, which is listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange. With its 2,300 employees, the EDB Group is Norway's largest supplier of IT services. EDB Maxware has 90 employees, and is one of the largest IT suppliers in central Norway. Through its systems integration division, EDB Maxware will make a strong commitment to Visma Business as its financial management system. Initially, all its Norwegian offices will sell Visma Business, which EDB Maxware will also use as its own internal financial system. Later, the company's international offices will be able to offer Visma Business as well. The systems integration division currently serves more than 250 Visma customers in central Norway through the acquisition of Pluss AS in Molde.
