Visma with contract of 16. mill in Italy

SNAM, the Italian part of the ENI group, responsible for gas transportation and distribution over the national territory, has extended the agreement signed in 1999 with SpecTec Italy for assistance and consultancy to another 24 months, at the agreed cost of 16 million Nok.

In the course of 1999, SpecTec Italy has installed the Maintenance and Spare part control system AMOS on all 20 gas pumping stations operated by SNAM, and located all over the Italian territory. The new contract will cover all aspects related with further trainings, assistance, customisation of the software installed.

SNAM, one of Italy's largest companies, is at the forefront of technology when it comes to maintenance administration and control.

SpecTec Italy, with 40 employees, is today's the largest company of the SpecTec group: while leading the shipping in the Mediterranean, it has established a separate industry division, which has been extremely succesfull in 1999. The need for systems such as Amos in the land based industry in Italy is estimated to be very high, with potential for over 10.000 installations. The SNAM contract demonstrates the maturity of the Amos system for highly sophisticated and complex installations.
