08.05.2001 Interim resultsThe Visma Group achieved operating income of NOK 70.1 million (83.5 million). The operating profit amounted to NOK 8.2 million (10.1 million), and EBITDA (earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortization) to NOK 11.1 million (13.2 million). The profit before tax was NOK 18.0 million (11.3 million). At the end of the first quarter, equity totalled NOK 537.9 million (243,5 million), corresponding to 63% (60%) of the total assets. The new Visma Services division achieved sales growth of 38% and an EBITDA margin of 17%. The software division, Visma Business, achieved an EBITDA margin of 22% and growth in sales of 14%. Including the three companies in the process of being merged - SPCS, �konomiPartner and Forenede �konomer - and excluding Visma Marine, the pro forma results for the Visma Group in the first quarter of 2001 show operating income of NOK 252.2 million (218.3 million), an operating profit of NOK 21.7 million (15.5 million) and EBITDA of NOK 31.7 million (24.6 million). The pro forma profit before tax was NOK 32.9 million (20.7 million).
