Meet our employees – This is Ingrid

Name: Ingrid Røeggen

Nationality: Norwegian

What do you do at Visma?

I am the National Web Editor for visma.no. Visma consists of many companies and we are a team of web editors from all the different companies. As a National Web Editor I edit all the common pages on visma.no and I have the overall responsibility for the web page. As part of an international team, I also work closely with the Corporate Web Manager in Norway and the national editors in the other European countries.

What are you working with now?

Right now, I am making a SEO-strategy for visma.no and coordinating SEO and web projects across our business units in Norway. I am also focusing on how we can work more efficient and structured as a team of web editors.

How is it to work at Visma?

I really enjoy working at Visma. I get involved in many different projects and collaborate with very skilful and professional colleges. Working as a National Web Editor is in some way like working as a consultant, but you get to be part of the whole process instead of just giving advice, which is very rewarding. The management have a strong focus on digital marketing and even though Visma is a large company, it adapts quickly to new technology and trends. That is a competitive advantage and makes my job even more interesting.

What is your favourite activity outside work?

I love to write and I was lucky to have a children’s book published last year, “Jo vil ikke bæsje på do”. I also enjoy reading novels and short stories, and I do some skiing during the winter, both cross-country and downhill. Most of my time off, I spend with my husband and our three children. I also try to meet up with my friends for a coffee or a glass of wine as often as I can.
