Name: Sara Forslund
Job: Team leader eAccounting support
What is your educational background?
I started working quite young, while in school, so when I was to choose a subject to study after high school, I couldn’t make up my mind, since I wanted to study something practical. After all, the goal of education is to be able to do good work. So I took courses in psychology, informatics, Swedish grammar and pedagogy in the meantime. I still have the rest of my life to educate myself!
What are you working at now?
I’m having the privilege to support the eAccounting support team in Krakow as the Team leader. My main focus right now is to optimize our support and the customer service experience. The main focus is to equip each support consultant with tools to provide good service for our customers.
How is it to work at Visma?
I love living abroad, but putting myself out there as a foreigner I have had to face my inner “viking”. Hence, I really appreciate the Scandinavian work culture at Visma. It’s nice to come to the office and feel “I know this!” At Visma I am always seen. When I work hard, it is acknowledged. When I need to improve something, constructive feedback is given. This continues to help me move forward and learn new skills. In return, Visma gets a motivated and loyal employee. Of course, nothing is perfect and not every day goes as planned. Like everything in life, it’s a rollacoster. But I really enjoy the ride with the Visma-Train!

What is your favourite activity outside work?
I love just soaking up the lovely Krakowian culture and atmosphere. So if I can choose, I will go for a walk in the old-town park down to the river, topped off with a nice cappuccino or beer in a beer garden in Kazimierz and spend nice time with my friends. I also love meeting new people, for different places in the world and life.
