It’s time to say goodbye to this year’s Summer interns in Visma. Let’s take a look at what they have learned and how they experienced these weeks.
Greetings from Dublin! We are two students from NTNU specializing in artificial intelligence (AI), empirical finance and optimization.
I still remember my first day in Visma as it was yesterday: The early morning flight from Copenhagen to Oslo, the journey from the airport directly to Skøyen, and the elevator ride to the 9th floor at Visma’s headquarters. When I entered the meeting room, I was met by the curious faces of my future Management Trainee colleagues.
When I started as a Management Trainee eight months ago, I had ample experience with working in a large organization. During our one year as Management Trainees we get to work as project managers on five different projects. As each project progresses, we learn something new about ourselves – we gain new confidence in our skills, and we learn what skill-sets we would like to explore further.
I was an intern at Visma Labs during a period of 15 weeks, in 2016, as part of my bachelor studies in Interaction Design at Malmö University. During my internship, I took on the project Mobile Expense, evaluating if Visma.net Expense, or parts of it, should be available as a mobile solution.
