YOU DON’T NEED SECURITY
The word security has become tainted as it’s haphazardly thrown around by leaders, managers, developers, sales people, recruiters, consultants, and your aunt’s parrot.
It’s a word used to sell poorly defined services, printed in esoteric documents aimed at auditors and regulators, casually uttered by developers to shuffle the responsibility to some vague person they once heard about. A word beaming with large proprietary fonts on websites, flyers and ads attempting to sell you a good night’s sleep with sugar coated dreams. It’s telling us all on a regular basis that security is its own thing, and that you don’t have to worry about it, because we got the specialists and the secret sauce to deal with your challenges, whatever they may be. Challenges you yourself probably have yet to define.
