Results for 2000



The Visma Group achieved operating revenues of NOK 944 million in 2000, compared with NOK 330 million in 1999. Of this, income from the sale of Visma Marine came to NOK 616 million. The operating profit was NOK 659 million (34 million in 1999), to which the sale of Visma Marine contributed NOK 610 million. EBITDA amounted to NOK 675 million (42 million in 1999), while the profit after tax was NOK 432 million (26 million in 1999). At the end of 2000, equity totalled NOK 634 million, corresponding to 77% of the total assets.

Visma Business had an excellent year in 2000, with an operating profit of NOK 23 million (14.5 million) on sales of NOK 145 million (115 million). Growth in sales compared with 1999 amounted to 26%. Visma Business achieved an operating margin of 16%, compared with 12.7% in 1999. Sales of new licences for Visma Business increased by 18% in 2000.

Visma has established a new division, Visma Services, which will provide outsourcing services for financial functions. This division will grow rapidly through acquisitions, and Visma anticipates good growth as a whole in 2001.
