15.11.2001 Acquisition of WhitebirdVisma Software ASA has entered into an agreement to acquire all of the shares in Whitebird AS for NOK 5.3 million. Of the shareholders in Whitebird, 91% have accepted the agreement.Whitebird has developed software and solutions for the secure use of Application Service Provider (ASP) services via the Internet. During the past few years, the company has invested more than NOK 50 million in the development of these solutions. The company has undergone a restructuring process, and now offers complete systems which will be developed further by the ASP company Visma Provider. For Visma this is primarily a technology acquisition, and Visma is taking over only three key employees who will continue the development of the systems.
