Visma invests in solutions for procurement and tendering and acquires Swedish company 

The OPIC Group is now a part of Visma’s well established business area for purchasing and tendering solutions.

As a part of Visma’s investments in complete solutions for procurement and tendering, the Group has now acquired OPIC, which is one of Sweden's largest providers of tendering solutions. With an annual turnover of more than SEK 60 million, the OPIC Group is now a part of Visma’s well established business area for purchasing and tendering solutions, Visma Procurement & Collecting.

“Complete and efficient solutions for procurement and tendering form a very important business area for Visma, as we have identified considerable potential within this market area – not least for Nordic companies in general – which are offered savings both as a part of the procurement process itself as well as through better procurement prices. Thus, for Visma it is important to increase our investments within this area, both through organizational and structural activities. On this basis we have established a business area in Visma for solutions like this. It underlines our commitment and the potential we have identified within this area,” says Øystein Moan, CEO of Visma, and adds:

OPIC is Sweden's leading experts on business relations between those conducting procurements within the public sector and their suppliers. Since the business was established in 1999, the company has grown to become a consolidated group with more than 70 employees in cities like Linköping, Stockholm, Halmstad and Vilnius in Lithuania. In 2009 the group came in with a turnover of more than SEK 60 million, which represents an increase of 28 percent from the year before.
