Mergers & Acquisitions

Vidar Evensen tells that Visma has acquired bWise

Visma acquires bWise AS, Norway's leading centre of expertise within Business Intelligence, data warehouse and enterprise resource management. The acquisition strengthens Visma Consulting’s focus on Business Intelligence, and with this becomes one of the leading providers of customized Business Intelligence solutions in the Norwegian market.

- In a society where data volume and complexity grow, and where the requirements of time spent are strict, the need for automation and self-service within analysis and reporting is increasing. bWise is Norway’s most experienced Business Intelligence specialist and the country’s only Qlik Elitepartner. With over 350 completed projects, bWise adds considerable expertise and experience within a business area that is strategically important for us, says Vidar Evensen, CEO of Visma Consulting.

- In terms of competence, we complement each other very well. Together, we can offer a range of services, and we see exciting opportunities both within Visma’s customer base and towards potential new customers, Evensen continues.

- We are especially pleased with having the opportunity to continue to develop our business with a strong company like Visma as our owner. It is important both for our own development and for our customers to be part of such an ambitious and growing company. bWise complement Visma’s portfolio very well, both in terms of products, services and knowledge. In total, we have a package that will benefit both existing and new customers, says Torstein Thorsen, CEO of bWise
