Visma acquires the accounting software Dinero

Mergers & Acquisitions

Visma acquires the Danish company Dinero to strengthen the position as provider of accounting programs and software solutions for small and medium-sized enterprises in Denmark.

- Dinero has been through an impressive development and built an accounting program that makes it easy for the smallest companies to handle their own bookkeeping. Visma and Dinero share their visions for the SME segment in Denmark, and it is a great match. Thanks to the acquisition, Visma can now offer the best solutions to the smallest companies and entrepreneurs all the way up to the medium-sized companies, says Mads Rebsdorf, CEO of Visma Software in Denmark.

The acquisition of Dinero is part of Visma’s strategy to deliver the best accounting systems and business solutions to small and medium-sized companies in Denmark. Visma also acquired the Danish online accounting company e-conomic back in 2015.

- We have been on an amazing journey these past four years. So has Visma and e-conomic, who share our ambition to offer the best solutions for small Danish companies. That is why it makes sense for us to join forces and the powerful backing to take Dinero and our solutions to the next level, says Martin Thorborg, CEO of Dinero.

Dinero will continue to provide and develop their own accounting solutions and service their customers.
