Appearance demonstrates Visma’s growing international reach as provider of mission-critical software.

Visma CEO Merete Hverven listens to a question while being interviewed on CNBC's TV program Street Signs.

Yesterday, CNBC welcomed Visma’s CEO, Merete Hverven, to a live interview on its European program Street Signs. The program, hosted by Julianna Tatelbaum and Joumanna Bercetche, covers the most important business stories related to economics, price discovery, and other financial topics in Europe.

During the interview, Hverven spoke about Visma’s story, differentiation, positioning and plans for growth in the coming years. She also discussed Visma’s recent valuation of €16 billion after acquiring new investors in early September.

Hverven’s appearance on Street Signs was in connection with her presentation at the European Tech Stars Conference, an event organised by JPMorgan Chase & Co., where hundreds of international investors gather to network with the most promising European tech companies. She and Visma’s CTO, Stian Grindheim, presented the Visma Group and networked with investors at the event.

The Covid pandemic has made it clear that core business and public sector technology is more important than ever in Europe. Visma’s recognition by global media company NBCUniversal News Group, which owns CNBC, is the direct result of Visma’s continually strengthening position as a leading European software company to meet Europe’s challenges in the years to come.
