Ethics and policies in Visma

Our commitment to shaping a better future

We are committed to building a better society through being a trusted partner for our communities, business partners, owners, and our employees. To achieve this, we will always act in an ethical, socially and sustainable manner and comply with applicable laws. How do we move from theory to practice?

Code of conduct

Trust is crucial for our business: we would not have been able to grow into the company we are today without great employees, leading inventions and the trust of our customers. To make sure that we don't break this trust - at any level - our Code of Conduct sets out expectations, commitments, and requirements for ethical conduct in Visma.

The Code of Conduct is not only an important part of our ethical framework, but it is also meant to foster an environment of commitment and trust within our organisation. This covers a wide range of business practices and procedures – and sets out basic principles to guide all employees and officers of all entities in the Visma group.

Corporate governance

The purpose of these principles is to ensure an appropriate division of roles between shareholders, the Board of Directors and the executive management, more comprehensively than is required by legislation.

Statement on modern slavery

Protecting human rights

Forced labour is today the most common element of modern slavery and the most extreme form of human exploitation. According to the Global Slavery Index, 40.3 million people live in modern slavery around the world, and 71 per cent of these are female.

With our Statement on Modern Slavery, Visma takes a stance against modern slavery and human trafficking, clearly outlining our understanding of all potential modern slavery risks related to our business. In addition, we have implemented steps that will ensure that there is no slavery or human trafficking in our own business or in our supply chains.
