It is well known that improved diversity in the workplace is improving financial results, and many companies have a genuine desire to improve the gender balance in their company.
However, most companies are lacking understanding of - and competence in terms of how to actually do it. Almost none of the measures are research-based and they are very often unsystematic. Several companies are now implementing measures, without actually knowing whether they will have a positive impact. Although we are seeing increased equality in society in general, it turns out that gender imbalance in business remains an unsolved issue.
#ShesGotThi wasis founded by Marie Louise Sunde & Isabelle Ringnes. They and use a holistic and research-based approach to help companies succeed in building gender balance and create awareness of unconscious behaviour. They believe in positive thinking, solution orientation and humour in order to help everybody see their role in eliminating discrimination, without feeling threatened or cornered. Their focus is on fighting unconscious discrimination – irrespective of gender, meaning that this is not just “a women issue”.
