The VCOM management model is based on the following pillars:
DevOps Everywhere – VCOM uses the DevOps methodology in both public clouds and traditional hosting facilities. DevOps is a practice of development and operation teams working together throughout the service lifecycle.
ITIL 4 based – VCOM uses ITIL (formerly Information Technology Infrastructure Library) as a foundation for managing products and services, a set of detailed practices for IT activities such as IT service management (ITSM) and IT asset management (ITAM) that focus on aligning IT services with the business needs.
Emphasis on infrastructure management, delivery and operations – The VCOM team has deep knowledge and experience in managing complex production environments and infrastructure with high security standards and high availability requirements.
ISO 27001/27018 certified – All components of VCOM: the VCOM framework, supporting systems, services and solutions, people, offices, policies, processes and roles are certified. This way we ensure trust from our customers and compliance with different rules and regulations in all countries where we deliver VCOM-managed solutions.
ISAE 3402/3000 Type 2 Controls and Assurance Reports – This is an international assurance standard, used in VCOM, that describes Service Organisation Control (SOC) engagements, which provides assurance to our customers that the service organisation has adequate internal controls. The report is run over a 12-month period, showing controls have been managed and improved over time.
