What is your educational background?
I am a graphic designer with an academic background in Management Information Systems.
What are you working on now?
I am part of a team that works to continuously refine the presentation of the Visma website (and services) in order to improve user experience and most importantly customer satisfaction. I also create graphical content for online campaigns and events which Visma hosts.
How is it to work at Visma?
I was very impressed by the internal co-ordination and management of staff at Visma considering how many people work in a company.
I enjoy balancing my own personal approach to problem solving whilst maintaining effective and productive relations with many colleagues I work alongside.
At Visma I have enjoyed working as part of the Riga marketing team as well as coordinating with other offices across the Baltic and Scandinavia region.
I enjoy working with talented and hardworking people who possess a range of skills and expertise which supports Visma’s long term commercial objectives. As a result, I have expanded my own skills set in addition to acquiring vital commercial experience in the design sector which continues to evolve in a rapidly changing online environment.
Understanding the impact of good design on user satisfaction is a particular passion of mine as I continue to develop my career in this discipline.
What is your favourite activity outside of work?
My favourite hobby and pastime is art and specifically portrait pictures. I am fascinated about the way artists capture different facial expressions in order to convey emotion using a range of techniques and mediums (canvas, oil, water colours, etc.).
