Laudus provides cloud ERP software tailored for small and medium sized enterprises (SME). Founded in 2003, the company was the first in Chile to offer e-invoicing fully integrated with the local tax authority.
For Visma, a leading provider of mission critical software in Europe and Latin America, the acquisition strengthens the Group’s presence in Chile, and complements its existing offering within HCM (human capital management) solutions in the country.
“We are excited to announce that we have acquired our first ERP in Chile, to reinforce Visma’s continued expansion in Latin America”, says Alvaro Capobianco, President of Visma Latin America.
“A perfect partner”
The addition of Laudus follows three other recent acquisitions for Visma in the region, with Argentinian ERP providers Contagram, Xubio and Calipso also joining the Visma family of companies.
“We are very happy to add Laudus, a Chilean local solution with a strong track record in the ERP space, currently serving more than 2.000 customers”, says Capobianco.
“We were impressed by Visma's fast growing journey in Latin America and their culture, and we consider them a perfect partner as we now seek to scale our business further”, says Javier Borrajo, co-founder of Laudus.
“With the experience of Visma to support our growth, we are ready to move to the next level. This is a development that will benefit both our customers and employees”, says Jaime Dauden, co-founder of Laudus.
