Visma Group, leading provider of business-critical software to private and public enterprises in the Nordic, Baltic and Benelux regions, has reached an agreement with Main Capital to acquire Roxit Group, provider of cloud software solutions for Dutch eGovernment segments in the Netherlands.
Visma has grown its presence exponentially in the Dutch market following a number of acquisitions over the last 12 months, which include Visma Connect, Raet, Proactive, Idella and Pink Web. By acquiring Roxit, Visma continues its advancement in the Netherlands, with now around €285m in revenue and over 2,000 employees in this highly strategic region, strengthening its leadership in the European market.
Roxit Group is a leading Dutch governmental software company with nearly 250 employees delivering SaaS solutions with an extensive range of functionalities to almost 500 customers throughout the Netherlands. Roxit Group will strengthen Visma's position as market leader in eGovernment targeted segments in the Netherlands with solutions that contribute to improving efficiency and productivity for governmental bodies and their citizens.
Visma acquires Roxit from Main Capital, a strategic investor in the North-Western European software industry, who have grown Roxit substantially over the last 3,5 years.
