Visma, Europe’s leading provider of mission-critical business software, announces a planned move of its head office to Majorstuen in Oslo.
The 18-story highrise in Sørkedalsveien 6, a landmark in Oslo’s cityscape over several decades, is in the process of being refurbished, and will be ready for use for nearly 1000 Visma-employees at the end of 2027.
With its central location and flexible architectural solutions, Visma's new head office will become an even more visible and accessible focal point for employees and customers, stimulating increased collaboration and innovation across Visma's companies in Norway.
The building is currently being completely rehabilitated according to strict environmental standards, with energy class A and BREEAM certification. Proximity to public transport, combined with indoor bicycle parking and changing rooms, ensures that employees can travel easily and emission-free to and from work.
"Moving to our new head office will mark a new milestone in Visma's continuous work to ensure efficient and sustainable operations, as well as a good working environment for our employees", says Merete Hverven, CEO of Visma.
Ready for new growth
Visma is the largest privately owned software company in Europe, and a leading supplier of mission-critical software solutions for accounting, payroll and e-invoicing to SMEs and local governments across Europe and Latin America.
The Group moved into its current head office in Skøyen outside Oslo in 2008. Strong growth both in Norway and internationally has since then contributed to lifting turnover from EUR 300 million to nearly EUR 3 billion, and the number of employees from 3,000 to over 16,000 globally. The Norwegian part of the business today accounts for close to 25 per cent of the Group's total turnover.
"Visma continues to grow, and we look forward to being able to gather an even larger part of our Norwegian operations under the same roof. Our employees are at the center of everything we do, and therefore it is absolutely crucial that we facilitate an inclusive, dynamic and sustainable working environment", says Hverven.
