Visma Custom Solutions expands its offering in the Danish market by acquiring IT Minds, a company that specialises in developing young IT talents.
IT Minds specialises in recruiting talented IT students and graduates and developing their talents to become some of the best IT consultants in the market. This has earned them the position as one of the most favoured employers among Danish IT students.
Highly qualified IT talents
“The competition for the best IT talents has increased over the last few years, and IT Minds have a unique position in the market,” says Lars Berthelsen, Managing Director of Visma Custom Solutions in Denmark.
HR Director, Selja von Zernikov, agrees and emphasises the importance of being an attractive employer among students:

Continued growth
Visma's consulting business in Denmark, which already consists of Visma Consulting, Kapacity and Co3, is growing rapidly, gaining market shares from their competitors.
“The addition of IT Minds, which is strongly rooted in the private consulting market, is a good fit with our strategy to expand in the private market in the coming years,” Berthelsen continues.
IT Minds has been part of IT service provider EG’s portfolio for the past seven years. Mikkel Bardram, CEO of EG and Chairman of the Board of IT Minds, emphasises that the timing is right for IT Minds to change owners:
"As Chairman of the Board of IT Minds, it has been exciting to follow and support their journey from a small entrepreneurial company with DKK 17 million in revenue back in 2014 through their successful growth with close to DKK 100 million in revenue in 2020. As EG will continue to focus exclusively on software for specific industries, I am pleased to hand over IT Minds to their new owners,” he says.
