Visma has acquired the digital agency Smartpage as part of a larger strategy to strengthen the company's profile around e-commerce and digitalisation in the Danish market.

With the addition of Smartpage, Visma will increase its digital marketing competence by merging Smartpage and the existing Visma company Co3 under the same name during the first half of 2022 and taking advantage of the synergies that naturally exist between the two companies.

"Co3 has had a fantastic growth journey since becoming part of Visma in 2018. With the acquisition of Smartpage, Co3 strengthens its presence in Eastern Denmark, and becomes a significant player nationally", said Lars Berthelsen, director of the Custom Solutions Division in Denmark, of which Co3 and now Smartpage are a part of.

"Our goal is to make it easier for all companies to create growth through e-commerce and online marketing. Together with Smartpage, we get even more muscle to realise that vision. The sum of our competencies in UX design, online marketing and technology gives us a strong and unique market position," said Christian Søsted Poulsen, Managing Director of Co3.

Smartpage is a dedicated sparring partner for a growing customer base within the B2B and B2C market, and in 2020, they had a turnover of DKK 20 million. The company's focus on customer business and robust e-commerce solutions have over time created concept-strong solutions and digital successes for companies such as Flying Tiger, Uno-X and Philipson Wine.

"Together with Visma and Co3, we can accelerate our strategy and serve larger and more complex customers. In the new constellation, we get more muscle, skills, and a wider range of services. So when we got the chance to become part of Visma, we jumped at the chance. Becoming part of a larger set-up with 100 skilled and committed colleagues, gives us both energy and opportunity to improve even further,” said Anders Ebdrup.

Smartpage continues with unchanged management at the two locations in Aalborg and Copenhagen.
