Visma has acquired Dutch software company Lyanthe, offering accountancy firms in Belgium and the Netherlands a solution for automated accounting processes. With this acquisition, Visma now offers a complete automated processing street - from invoice to bookkeeping - for the accountancy sector in the Benelux.
Lyanthe is being added to the Visma Connected Experience for accountants, a complete ecosystem supporting all activities within an accountancy firm. The software solutions are integrated, allowing them to share their data. This reduces processing time and minimises the risk of errors due to double entry.
With the software, accountancy firms in the Netherlands and Belgium process more than 150,000 invoices every day for over 120,000 administrations in seven countries.
Rainier van Vlokhoven, managing director at Lyanthe, said: "We are very impressed by Visma's vision for the accountancy market. We are pleased to add value to the Visma proposition for the accountancy sector. Moreover, we see great opportunities to accelerate our growth plans in the Benelux and Scandinavia."
John Reynders, Area Director Benelux at Visma, said: "Visma offers the accountancy sector freedom of choice in software with the Visma Connected Experience to best suit their working methods. We are happy and proud that Lyanthe is joining the Visma family. Now we have a smart solution for digitisation with 100% human accuracy combined with automated processing of large volumes of invoices, which allows the sector to achieve unprecedented efficiency."
Lyanthe will continue to operate under its own name and its current team as an independent unit within the Visma Group. All partnerships that Lyanthe has with software suppliers and administrative service providers will continue unchanged.
Lyanthe is the result of a collaboration between accountants and IT specialists. Based on our own experience with organising accounting processes, we developed a solution that simplifies and automates these mundane, repetitive tasks. In this way, we enable our partners to concentrate on those activities that make a difference to the entrepreneurs they serve. Read more at www.lyanthe.com.
