Halfway in Visma Nordic Trophy and time for Årefjällsloppet

Visma Nordic Trophy, a competition that includes the five final events in Visma Ski Classics, is at full speed. With Årefjällsloppet March 25, the athletes are halfway through the competition and closer to the prize money of 35.000 Euro.

Visma Nordic Trophy, a competition that includes the five final events in Visma Ski Classics, is at full speed. With Årefjällsloppet March 25, the athletes are halfway through the competition and closer to the prize money of 35.000 Euro.

Visma Nordic Trophy was previously initiated by Visma and is a competition located in the Nordic countries. The competition includes Vasaloppet, Birkebeinerrennet, Årefjällsloppet, Reistadløpet and Ylläs-Levi. Årefjällsloppet is the third of the total five events and takes place in Sweden March 25. The race goes through Årefjällen for 55 km to the finish line in Edsåsdalen.

–Visma Ski Classics represents a culture of pushing oneself to the limit and beyond. Årefjällsloppet is another tough challenge within the competition Visma Nordic Trophy. Visma and the participants have a lot in common. Like in business, the participants must utilize their strengths and map out a strategy to succeed in the competitive environment, says Øystein Moan, CEO Visma.

Prize money

Visma Nordic Trophy standings depends on the amount of "yellow bib" Champion points collected through the five Nordic events. The top three male and female skiers with highest points after the final race Ylläs-Levi will be awarded. Visma will hand out prize money of 35.000 Euro.
