Acquisition of leading e-invoicing platform for freelancers and SMBs further expands Visma's presence in the Italian market.
Visma, a global provider of mission-critical business software, today announces the acquisition of Tek01, an Italian SaaS company best known for its products FatturaElettronica App (e-invoicing) and PECImprese (certified e-mail).
Since its inception in 2014, FatturaElettronica App has established itself as the preferred e-invoicing solution for Italian freelancers, micro-businesses and SMBs, serving more than 124,000 customers across the country and processing over 9.5 million invoices in 2025 alone.

AI synergies
Following Visma’s acquisitions of SaaS accounting providers Fiscozen (2024) and Alavie (2025), the addition of Tek01 further solidifies the Group’s efforts to build a fully integrated, end-to-end accounting solution for Europe’s biggest SMB market - connecting compliance, invoicing, and accounting within a single ecosystem.
In addition to its core e-invoicing solution, FatturaElettronica App is launching an integrated payment service in 2026, enabling customers to receive and reconcile invoice payments directly within the platform. This will be supported by a proprietary AI Accountant Assistant in the near future, holding clear synergies with Visma's existing AI technologies, including Smartscan.
