How we put theory into practice
At Visma, we focus on retaining, develop and hire skilled and dedicated employees. This is part of everything we do; from courses offered on a group level and further down in the organisation – with the purpose of increasing competence and ensure career development.
This includes attracting the best and brightest young professionals, offering trainee and mentoring programs and leadership development programs.
Getting everyone onboard
We also seek to provide a working environment that offers opportunities for the disabled. We are situated in relatively new buildings, where everyone has easy access, including employees using wheelchairs and other disabled.
Work in Visma is in general not physically demanding, and people with physical disabilities thus have good opportunities in Visma.
Closing the gender gap
Although diversity isn't only a question of how many women versus men, this is one of the pressing matters. We work towards a more balanced gender ratio in the workplace because we believe - and have experienced - that this contributes to a better working environment, greater creativity and adaptability, and better results in the long run.
We are a founding partner of #ShesGotThis
As an initiative to close the gender gap we are a proud sponsor of, amongst other things, #ShesGotThis, a non-profit organisation aiming to increase financial profits and improve social returns by fighting unconscious discrimination and gender stereotypes in business. The solution is a data-driven and research-based effort to increase gender balance in corporations.
